I set out for an all-day wander up to northern Virginia, and then across the Potomac River to the Nanjemoy area of Maryland. Along the way I stopped at the Neabsco Creek Boardwalk, Leesylvania State Park, and the Ghost Fleet of Mallows Bay, with a quick stop near the site of John Wilkes Booth’s death on the way home.
